We support homeschooling families and have created a program just for you!  Thanks to the input of a local homeschooling mom, we have collecting a variety of projects to enrich your children and help them create wonderful keepsakes!   Each program is $10, and runs from 1pm-2:15pm.     Each workshop ncludes all materials, firing fees, and any additional studio time required to complete the project.    View all the details on our printable  registration form:    Fall Home School Registration Form 2011

We are saying good-bye to Summer 2011 with a “kick back” week…   When you paint pottery or make a mosaic this week, just know that when you PICK UP your FINISHED pieces,  a FREE studio fee voucher for each studio fee on your ticket will be attached to your order!    We want to invite you back in to paint some pumpkins or Halloween decorations, or even early Christmas gifts these fall months.  We also want to say “thank you” to our wonderful customers, as its been a great year so far!

Paint or mosaic from Monay, 8/15 thru 7pm on Sunday, 8/21.

You dont have to say or do anything…we will have these ready when you pick up your pieces.

PicassoZ has hand-made paintable surfboards that you can customize however you’d like.  On our sample, we used this inspiring quote by Bethany Hamilton, the incredible young woman who inspired this summer’s movie “Soul Surfer”.   A year after she lost her arm in a shark attack, she says at age 14…”Courage doesn’t mean you dont get afraid, courage means you dont let fear stop you.” -Bethany Hamilton.  You can make your own surfboard out of clay, on August 11th, at 10am for $25 (includes firing fees & painting!).  Walk-ins welcome.

Clay artist Jenn will help with rolling a slab of clay on our fancy slab roller, texturing, trimming, and even making little feet!   Includes snack, firing & painting studio fees and playing in your scraps!    Walk-ins welcome, but if you can call or email us at picassozartcafe@gmail.com you are coming that would be great!    WIll take about 75 minutes.  Visit our Facebook Event Calendar for up to date workshops & promotions.

Today at closing is the deadline to get your pieces back for Father’s Day.  We need a couple days to fire them!  You can still make Dad a mosaic, like a picture frame or a mirror, as they go home the same day, but try to paint your pottery for Dad early!
